Amazing Dance Studio is a modern dance school, specializing in fast dance progress for all skill levels and all ages. Our specialty is Two Step, Polka, West Coast Swing, Waltz, East Coast Swing, Jitterbug, Salsa, Meringue and Bachata.
Our story
STEVE
The lead dance instructor – Steve, has been trained by world champion dance instructors over more than two decades. He has competed in several competitions and won several awards. He is a master of over 20 different dance teaching styles on over 10 dances all over the US.
Interestingly, Steve is also a professional engineer. This unique mastery both in dance and engineering has enabled Steve to teach dancing in a novel manner, aimed at fast and easy progress. You do not need to learn or memorize long complex patterns.
The Amazing dance Studio teaches the “Lead-Follow” manner so any man can lead any lady and any lady can follow any man. The dance teaching style has been rated and ranked as the best by many of our students. Steve invented and coined the dance “Gulf Coast Swing” which is a novel and revolutionary concept for couples weight loss dance (more fun, far simpler and amazingly romantic compared Zumba!) and also wedding dance for couples and groups.
Steve is famous for his 15 rules of dancing. These rules are amazingly practical and help learning to dance like never before. With these rules of dancing, people learn in one hour with Steve what typically takes 8-10 hours with other conventional styles of learning.
Steve has competed in both UCWDC (United Country Western Dance Council) and Fun Country dance circuits. He has competed in Houston, New Orleans, Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Dallas several times. Some of his awards are shown below:
